Brenda Beth Kingsley, age 58 of Portage, died at home under hospice care on June 24, 2020. She was born July 13, 1961, in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Henry and Trena (Nap) Triemstra. Brenda graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School in 1979. For 20 years she worked at Illinois Envelope and then retired as a cashier in the lunchroom for Portage Public Schools. On May 26, 1984, Brenda married David Kingsley.
Her family also includes her children: Melissa (Nicholas) McKenna and Brian (Kathryn) Kingsley; her grandchildren: Jack, Grant, Isaac, Elsie, Cassidy, Benjamin, and Kaylee; her father-in-law Robert Kingsley; her brothers and sister: James, Carol, Robert, and Stan (Dawn) Triemstra; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mothers-in-law Barbara Gilmore and Carol Kingsley, and her brother Don Triemstra.
