Brandon Gene Richardson, 37, of East Palatka, passed from this life on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Kendall Regional Medical Center in Miami following a brief illness. Born in St. Augustine, Brandon was a lifelong resident of Putnam County and a 2002 graduate of Palatka High School. He had worked as a mechanic at Seminole Electric since 2015. Prior to transitioning to Seminole, he worked in the water department with the City of Palatka. Brandon loved spending time with his kids and his family. In his leisure time, Brandon enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and was an avid Florida State Seminole fan.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Steve and Carolyn McPeak.
Brandon is survived by his wife of 9 years, Tiffany Richardson of East Palatka, his mother and step-father, Tamara Long (John) of Greenville, SC, his father and step-mother, Brad Richardson (Gail) of Palatka, a daughter, Taylor Richardson, and a son, Braxton Richardson, both of East Palatka, a brother, Andy Richardson (Alexis) of Piedmont, SC, 3 step-brothers, Joshua Long, Matthew Long (Grace) and Johnathyn Long, all of Greenville, SC, a half-brother, Michael Richardson (Taylor) of Ocala, a step-sister, Ashley Topliffe of Palatka, grandparents, Bobby and Nyta Richardson of Palatka and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
