Brandon was born on June 19, 1986 in Polk County, Iowa and graduated from Chariton High School in 2005. Brandon belongs to the mothers and fathers; Julie Poush- Lonnie Snook, Dave (Jackie) Braaksma, and Scott (Angie) Kinney Brandon met his wife, Brooke Rogge in November 2011 in Indianola, Iowa. He then popped the question at their home in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with a ring pop over a homemade dinner on May 30, 2013. They didn’t waste any time, and had a big family wedding in Chariton, Iowa on June 22, 2013. Brandon was truly a special person who held many people close to his heart. To him, there was no separation between friends and family, because of this, the memories made and stories shared are all special and unique. Brandon always took on the day with a big smile and an open mind to the adventures the day held. His most recent adventures were spent exploring the outdoors and fishing Brooke out of a hole while ice fishing. He was able to tell all of his stories through his numerous tattoos, his most recent piece being dedicated to the bond between him and his wife. As many knew, his chihuahua Luke was always his right hand man, because to be honest, Luke acts and is treated as a human. Brandon and Brooke recently expanded their family by adopting a lab/ retriever mix and named him Dalhart. In short, Brandon was a big guy with and even bigger heart who could make anyone in a room feel special and loved. He is preceded in death by his great grandparents Bruce and Betty Etter, grandparents James (Bo) Kinney, Joane Kinney, Ronnie Poush, and Wayne Braaksma. Those left to honor Brandon’s memory include his wife, Brooke (Rogge) Braaksma, his grandmother Judy Poush, his mothers and fathers Julie Poush- Lonnie Snook, Dave (Jackie) Braaksma, Scott (Angie) Kinney, and Marty Scott, his siblings Tyler Kinney, Brandon Johnson, Nick Haynes, Vallerie (Jeff) Heater, Amanda (Sean) Allen, Cole Braaksma, Scottie Kinney, Anthony Couey, Melissa Moreno, Dakotah Braaksma, Lindsay Kinney, Chase Braaksma, Tristen Snook, Trisha Snook, Shelby Snook, Hunter Braaksma, Brittany Rogge, and Abbey Tjebkes
