Boyd A. Eklund, 77, a resident of Gooding, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Bennett Hills Care and Rehab. in Gooding.
Boyd was born on September 1, 1935 in Creston, Iowa, the son of Bernard and Edith Eklund, and was the youngest with two brothers and one sister. Boyd attended school in Gooding and afterwards worked for several cattle ranches, driving logging truck and was a mechanic for several years,
Boyd married Jean Cahlender on April 26, 1957 in Boise.
Boyd is survived by: his wife, Jean of Gooding; his sister, Dorothy Bliss and her son, Gary and daughter, Toni; and nieces, Pam High and Debbie Thaete.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Paul and Floyd
