Bonnie Vaneta Robison Brewster, passed away June 17, 2023 comforted by her daughter Lori and sister Leta.

Bonnie was born December 20, 1935 in Sherman, TX to Bernice Vance Robison and Lillie Mae Holdridge Robison.

Bonnie was an Evangelist from the early age of 17 in what she fondly referred to as “the Country” leading revivals where many accepted Christ and were baptized by her father in the Red River. In 1954 she began college at Southwestern and in 1956 she continued her studies at Evangel College.

She began her lifelong career with the Girl Scouts in 1964 as a field director in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1969, she continued on with the Girl Scouts as a field advisor, then Executive Director.

In 1973 she met the love of her life, Ralph Brewster and they were married in September of that same year.

In 1974 the longing to return to the Midwest brought her back to Tulsa as Executive Director of the Magic Empire Girl Scout Council. During her service she was also a respected member of the non-profit community including the Tulsa Area United Way. In 1997 she thought she would take a try at retirement, but that didn’t last long. Returning to the Girl Scouts and shining as a servant leader, she traveled across 17 councils throughout the United States as an interim Executive Director for the next ten years.

She moved to Moore, Oklahoma in 2012 where she continued to serve and show up as an active member of her community.

It is impossible to list all the achievements or to measure the lives touched and impact made by Bonnie. All who knew her well, are familiar with how deeply she touched every individual she came in contact with.

Bonnie is survived by daughter Lori Couch (husband Mark), daughter Bobi Brown, and daughter in law Judi Wadleigh; Grandchildren: Tammy (husband Doug), Rachel, Sarah (husband Matt) Ashley, Matthew, Amber (husband Roland) and her many precious “great grands”. Sisters: Berna Pruitt, Leta Jones (husband Steve), And Nieces & Nephews: Sherri Pruett, Vicki Pruett, Judi Goldston (husband Ken), Tracey Mebane and Steven Jones, Jr.
