Bonnie Sue Harlow Martin, 32, of 104 Smith Country Road, Bassett, VA died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville/Henry County. She was born on September 19, 1977 in Martinsville, VA to Larry Richard Harlow of Eagle Rock, VA and Carrie Arrington Harlow of Fieldale, VA and was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Warren M. and Ruby Harlow. Mrs. Martin attended Fieldale-Collinsville High School and was a member of the National Honor Society of the Beta Club. She worked for Springs Basic Bedding, Martinsville, VA. Surviving in addition to her parents are her son, Ronnie Wayne “Buddha†Adkins of the home; step-daughters, Kayla Marie Brummett of Stanleytown, VA and Amber Nicole Adkins of Fieldale, VA; step-son, Alan Monroe “Monkey†Brummett of Stanleytown, VA; brother, Joshua Caleb “Pooh Bear†Harlow of Axton, VA; maternal grandmother, Evelyn Ruth Turner Arrington of Mountain Valley and maternal grandfather, James “Jimmy†Alexander Arrington of Martinsville, VA; fiancé, Ronnie Adkins of the home and several aunts and uncles.
