Muncie – Bonnie McGinnis, 77, passed away early Sunday Morning at Willow Bend Living Center following an extended illness.
Bonnie was born in Fleming County, Kentucky on December 23, 1932, the daughter of Jack and Vada (Wilson) Dyer, and attended Muses Mill, Kentucky Schools.
Mrs. McGinnis was a Nurses Aid for the Woodlands for fifteen years, until she began working as an In-Home Nurse, for the next twenty years, until her retirement in 2004.
Survivors include her husband of over fifty-seven years, Charles R. McGinnis, Muncie; two sons Kevin “Mike” McGinnis, (wife-Venita), South Pittsburg, Tennessee, and Mark A. McGinnis, Muncie; a daughter, Sherri Tearney, (husband-Bryce), Muncie; a sister, Opal Johnson, Muncie; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; twin children, Randy McGinnis, and Robin McGinnis; a sister, Shirley Eacret, and a brother, Donald Dyer.
