Bonnie L. Bateman, 83, Anderson, died September 26, 2011 at Millers Merry Manor-Chesterfield after an extended illness. She was born July 8, 1928 in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Bonnie was a 1946 graduate of Anderson High School. She retired from Delco Remy.
Bonnie was an avid bowler and is in the Indiana Hall of Fame. She is survived by her son, Larry Nikki Douglas; grandchildren, Lori Tracy Summers, Shane Kammie Douglas and Bobbie Douglas; daughter-in-law, Sheila Douglas; great grandchildren, Julie, Jami, Brian, Spencer and Preston.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kitty Mathers Baker; husband, Jack C. Douglas; son, Jack C. Douglas, Jr and grandson, Jack C. Douglas III.
