Bonnie Bea Vicars was born April 29, 1950 in Ogden, Utah to Robert Matthew Vicars & Winnie Lee Bailey Vicars. Her early years were lived in Morgan, Utah. Her family moved back to Brigham City, Utah in June of 1954. She belonged to a wonderful family.
She attended schools in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1968. In 1971 she married Ferrall Wayne Roper and they became parents to four daughters. They later divorced. After becoming a single mom to 4 little girls she went back to school and graduated from Weber State with a nursing degree as an LPN. She was extremely proud of her education and had a great career in nursing.
Bonnie is survived by her 4 daughters Brandy (Cris) Hare, Clinton, Utah, Angie (Dave) Kennedy, Brigham City, Utah, Bobbi (Paul) Beckstead, Washington Terrace, Utah and Carly (James) Bailey, Brigham City, Utah. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren and two sisters, Judy Apodaca and Wendy Ravsten both of Brigham City, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Winnie Vicars; two brothers, Richard Vicars, and William Vicars, and one sister, Sandy Vicars; grandparents Pope and Lou Merchant Bailey, and Robert Vicars & Maude Bowcutt Vicars Morgan and her special little great granddaughter, Kearston Kapri Allred and a great nephew Mathew Ellsworth.
Our love, respect and gratitude go out to Bonnie’s daughter Brandy Hare and granddaughter Bailey Roper for the loving care they gave our mother and grandmother. Special thanks to Intermountain Home Care and Hospice, especially her nurses Becky and Laura and CNA’s Shaylee and Carly. Dr. Kevin Gardner and his staff at Wasatch Peak Medical Center.
