Born in Cuba, she came to the United States in 1968 first moving to Union City, later relocating to Manhatten before settling in Paramus. Bonifacia was predeceased by her late husband Argelio Rodriguez. She is survived by her loving daughters Maria Vasallo, Aixa Martinez, and Barbara Ferrer. She was predeceased by all of her late siblings; Dolores Perez, Anna Rosa Perez, Maria Del Carmen Perez, Ofelia Perez, Jesus Perez, Perfecto Perez and Rogelio Perez. She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
