Boneta V. Molloy, 97, of Niles, Michigan, formerly of Kenilworth Road, South Bend, Indiana, passed away at 11:20 a.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2007, in her home. Boneta was born on August 4, 1909 in Spencer County, Indiana, to Joseph and Mida (Woodward) Massie. She retired from the former Ellsworth Department Store. On June 22, 1947, in Watervliet, Michigan, as Boneta V. Massie, she married John J. Molloy, who preceded her in death on July 19, 2004. Also preceding her in death were a stepdaughter, Virginia Hobbs; four sisters, Marguerite Massie, Pauline Graham, Ruth Massie, and Dorothea Holmes; and three brothers, James, Raymond, and Ralph Massie. Survivors include a stepson, Norman Lynch of Dearborn, Michigan; one sister, Jayne Benjamin of Granger, Indiana; one brother, Clarence (Esther) Massie of Anaheim, California; one sister-in-law, Helen Massie of Long Beach, California; and best friends and caregivers, Robert and Patricia Shepard of Niles, Michigan and their extended families.
