Bobby Wright, 70, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 15,1950, in Dewitt, Arkansas to the late Dewey and Dorothy Wright. Bobby was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on November 10, 1970, by Bro. Ulyess Wright Sr. at the age of 20. On January 29,1971, he married the love of his life Marrietta Harris in Seminole, Texas by Bro. Dwain Dobbs. They were married 49 years. To this union they were blessed with six children.
Bobby was a mechanic for Doran Chevrolet for 16 years and a mechanic for Watson Truck & Supply for 19 years before retiring. He was ordained as a bishop on April 30, 1989 in the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn in Hobbs, New Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents Dewey and Dorothy Wright, five brother and three sisters.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife Marrietta Wright; six children-James and wife Kelley Wright, Chrystal Chandler, Todd Wright, Hollie Wright, Kile and Summer Wright, Brandon and wife Taylor Wright; ten grandchildren, two great grandchildren; five brothers: Eugene Wright, Nolan and wife Charlene Wright, Royce Wright, Oscar and wife Penny Wright, Luther and wife Missie; three sisters: Joann and husband Lawrence McFarland, Evon and husband David Watkins, Geneva and husband Bill Atteberry.
