Bobby Harrell, 83 of Ahoskie NC, passed away into the arms of his Lord Savior, Jesus Christ on April 4, 2024 at his home with his wife by his side. Bobby was born April 13, 1940 to Roy Velma Harrell in Oak City, NC. Bobby preceded his wife Barbara Harrell of 62 years.Bobby retired from the CSX Railroad after 35 years of service. His many hobbies included camping, cutting grass, Mustangs and of course making everyone laugh with his jokes and one liners. Bobby was an example of a man driven by his faith in God. He was always willing to help anyone in need and had a heart of gold. Bobby was the ultimate provider for his wife family and his legacy will live on forever through the many stories and memories of those who had the opportunity to know him.Bobby is survived by his sons, Michael Harrell, Sr. (Lenora) and Kevin Harrell; grandsons, Michael Harrell, Jr. (Stacey) and Sean Harrell; great-grandsons, Carter and Connor Harrell; great-granddaughter, Shylah Harrell; two sisters, Peggy Ricks (Billy) and Brenda Turner (Steve); and countless nieces and nephews. The family is most grateful for Charlene Byrd, who has been a gift from God for all she has done to see that Bobby was properly taken care of and comfortable during his illness.
