Bobby Lee Smith, 86, Anderson, passed away on February 9, 2022. He was born on June 10, 1935, in Overton County, TN to Grady and Irene Smith.
Bobby retired from Delco-Remy after 38 1/2 years of service. He also drove a school bus for Anderson Community Schools.
Bobby enjoyed playing cards, working on cars, and going to rummage sales. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Hade Smith, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ralph and Estella Wise.
Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Pat Smith, Anderson; his children, Sherry Hale (Jamey), Pendleton, Rodney Smith (Joanna), Anderson, and Lori Smith, Anderson; his grandchildren, Megan Hill (Eli Frank), Jason Hale, Shane Smith (Rachel), and Cody Smith (Lexie Wells); his great-grandchildren, Isaac Hill, Isaiah Hill, Lilah Smith, Lane Smith, Bailey Morrison, Estella Smith, and Grady Smith; his brother, Blaine Smith (Judy), Chesterfield; his sister, Mildred Tuterow (Kent), Sevierville, TN; and numerous nieces and nephews.
