He was preceded in death by his parents, Orville Chelette, and Joy Davenport Davis, his brother, William Benning. Survivors include: his wife, Agnes Horme Chelette, God Child, Samantha Behre, God Children, Blake, Daniel Jr. and Trent Landrum, sister, Marlene Blanchard, brother, Alan Benning, numerous nieces and nephews.
