She was predeceased by her father, Waldon Hill; her mother, Lillie Mae Peacock Hill Martin, son, David Wayne Terpening and brother R. Edward Hill.
She is survived by her loving husband, Col. Russell Dean Terpening; son, Russell Dean Terpening II and wife Rita Lynnette Terpening and grandsons, Russell Dean Terpening III and Sampson Patrick Terpening; son, Steaven Ralph Terpening and granddaughter, Annaliese Gabriella Terpening; sister in laws, Juanita Terpening of St Johns, MI and Patricia Hill of Boca Raton, FL.
