Bobbie Scoggins Stracener, 81, of Heber Springs, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, October 06, 2015. She was born September 25, 1934 in Bee Branch, Arkansas to James and Blanche Brittain. Bobbie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She also extended her love to her church family. Bobbie was a member of the Heber Springs Church of Christ, where she faithfully served for many years.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands: John Robert Scoggins and Bentley Stracener; three sisters: Louise Stracener, Drucella Brittain, and Jackie Maloney; and two brothers: James Ralph Brittain, Jr. and Vernon Don Brittain.
She is survived by her son, John (Cheryl) Scoggins; grandchildren: John Wesley (Sarah) Scoggins and Whitney Lynne (Daniel) Nicholas; one great-granddaughter, Emmalynn Scoggins; three sisters: Jimmie Lee (Jerry) Reames, Betty Lacy, and Mary Mix; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
