Bobbie Lou (Messer) Johnson, 82, of Ingalls, passed away Monday, July 1, 2013. She was born June 29, 1931 to the late James Allen Messer and Lana Agnes (May) Messer in Morehead, Kentucky. She was a homemaker who came to Indiana in 1950. Bobbie attended the Central Community Chapel in Anderson and was a member of the Fortville Brotherhood and Sisterhood.

She was a very generous woman who loved her family and tacos. She is survived by a son, Dennis (Melanie) Johnson of Ingalls; a daughter, Sally Cowles of Anderson; her granddaughter and caretaker, Amanda (Joe) Collins of Ingalls; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Elnor (Earl) Jesse of Seymour; and a brother, Leonard (Ann) Messer of Knox.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Theodore Harrison Johnson; sons, Wendell R. Jonson and Tracey A. Johnson; grandson, Dustin W. Johnson; and son-in-law, Bob Cowles.
