Blanche Loeb, 98, of South Bend, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2007, in Healthwin Specialized Care Facility, South Bend.
Blanche was born on December 31, 1908, in Blue Mound, IL, to the late Charles and Rose (Ogier) Gleeson. She then moved to Decatur, IL and resided there for over 20 years.
On February 5, 1937, as Blanche Gleeson, she married Ben Loeb, who preceded her in death. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Elsie Mahoney, Dorothy Lipka, Mildred Gentry and Marguerite Hall; and by two brothers, Kyle and Dean Gleeson.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Loeb worked as a clerk for South Bend Drug for 25 years.
