Blanche E. (Chamberland) Lamothe, 88, of Bellingham, passed away on Wednesday March 7, 2018 in Milford, MA.

Blanche was born on July 22, 1929 to the late Nestor and Rhea (Bernier) Chamberland. She lived most of her life in Bellingham, MA.  She was married for 65 years to Ernest D. Lamothe, who passed away in 2014.

In addition to raising four daughters, she worked for many years in various textile manufacturing companies, many with her late sister, Ella (Chamberland) Power, who passed away in 2011. Blanche retired in 1991.

Blanche loved spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, always available to help when she was needed.  She had a very special smile, bright blue eyes, shared many memorable sayings, often in French Canadian, and had a happy demeanor that made everyone want to be around her.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters: Alice S. Bryda and her husband Frank of Woonsocket, RI; Jeanne C. Milius of Milford, MA; Claire C. Hall and her husband Rick of Longmeadow, MA; and Pauline G. Lorange and her husband Rene of East Douglas, MA.

She also leaves six grandchildren: William Bryda of Woonsocket, RI; Jennifer Benoit of East Douglas, MA; Karl Milius of Berlin, NJ; Krista Boyle of Hopkinton, MA; Bradley Hall of Northbridge, MA; and Kelsey Hall of Northampton, MA; and six great-grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan Benoit, Amber Milius, Alyson Bryda, Josslyn Hall, and Colin Boyle.
She is also survived by a brother, Nestor Chamberland of Woonsocket, RI, and brother-in-law John J. Power, of Rangeley, Maine.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Genesis Milford Care and  Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care for their support and care during her stay.
