Blanche D. Sharkey, 94 of Toms River, NJ died on Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born in New Brunswick she lived in Highland Park before moving to Toms River in 1961. She was a homemaker.
Blanche was a parishioner of St. Justin’s RC Church, Toms River, NJ, a life member of Deborah Seaside Chapter, a member of the Toms River Senior Center (East Dover), a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 348 in Brick, NJ and a member of the New Jersey Coalition Women’s Disability Ocean County Chapter. Preceded in death by her husband John J. in 1974 and her sister Helen Cimon.
Surviving is her loving son Robert and his wife Elizabeth of Toms River, two grandchildren Robin Sharkey-Beaudry and her husband Chris and Eileen Sharkey-Evans and her husband Lee, and three great- grandchildren CJ and Erin Beaudry and Emily Evans, one niece Jean McDonald and family and extended family Pat and Greg Purnell and family.
