Bishop Bellony Edouard, 66, peacefully passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2016 in Providence, RI, after a period of failing health. He was born in Tiguave, Haiti. He was the son of Louisena Charles and the late Joseph Macenat Edouard. He was the husband of Marie Marlene (Dumas) Edouard.
When he turned 23 he moved to Port Au-Prince, Haiti, where he met who would become his wife for 40 years, Marie Marlene Dumas.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his 6 children. Sons, Jean Rene Edouard and Daniel Edouard, daughters, Marie Roselyn Durand, Marie Berlene Edouard, Kiren Edouard and Marie Crista Edouard, 3 brothers and 6 sisters, as well as 9 grand-children, nieces and nephews.
While living in Haiti, he was an active Evangelist and community leader who was passionate towards aiding the less fortunate. His charisma, confidence and laughter will forever be remembered.
