Billy Niblo Daniels (3/09/30-3/05/14)
A man of love, honor, and integrity, Bill has gone home to His Heavenly Father. His life was a memorable one, filled with devotion to family, friends and country. Honored with a Purple Heart and Silver Cross in the Korean War, Bill served as a Dallas police officer for ten years. He then built a career as a successful businessman and became a 32nd Degree Mason. Whenever anyone needed help or advice, they turned to Bill and he was always there for them. He helped many people, not wanting praise or recognition. He helped in little ways and huge ways, and seldom waited to be asked. He was a pillar of strength for us all. Until the day he left us, his first thought was of others.
Born to Ruth and Hope Daniels in Durant, Oklahoma, he was the fourth of seven siblings. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and brothers Danny, Bob, Joe, and Jimmy.
He is survived by his dedicated wife, Linda Griffin Daniels; devoted daughter, Leah King-Daniels; beloved grandson Anthony William King IC2 US Navy; very special niece, Ashley Holcomb; loving sisters Katheriine Finlan and Pat Coalter, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
