Billy Joe Watson of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Fort Smith, Arkansas surrounded by his loving family. Billy was born March 27, 1937 to William Raymond Watson and Martha Delta (Allen) Watson in Needmore, Arkansas. Billy was 77 years, 8 months and 3 days old.

Billy served in the United States Army from 1957 until 1958. He was a proud father of five children. He worked for many years at Waldron Furniture Factory. He was an avid hunter and loved the color red. Billy was a member of Evening Shade Baptist Church and was an ordained Southern Baptist Minister.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 58 years, Nadine, of Waldron, Arkansas, two sons: Marty Watson and wife Ceriln of Kansas City Missouri, Raymond Watson and wife Frankie of Waldron, Arkansas, two daughters: Toni Dozier and husband Allen of Waldron, Arkansas and Tina Johnson and husband Robert of Bentonville, Arkansas. Grandpa will forever remain in the hearts of his grandchildren: Melissa Bass, Rebecca Dalmon, Victoria Watson, Erin Owens, Kaylin Watson, Nina Nugent, Taylor Watson, Daniel Watson, Samuel Watson, Micah Watson, Jeremiah Watson, Timothy Watson, Mark Watson, Tyler Johnson, Dillon Johnson, Dalton Dozier and Drew Dozier as well as 10 great grandchildren. Billy will be missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him including his two nieces, Glenda Easter and Janie Topleski and nephew, Wayne Adair as well as a host of friends, neighbors and loved ones.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Watson, one son, Ricky Watson and three sisters: Nancy Adair, Beatrice Fowler and Meirl Woodall.
