Billy Joe Hicks, 54, died Thursday August 20, 2015 in Indianapolis. He was a resident of Franklin.
Billy loved music, playing basketball, and was an all around sports buff.
Survivors include his parents, Charles E. and Barbara A. (Winkler) Hicks, five children, Laura (Alpha) Caplinger, Marissa Mays-Hicks and Logan Mays-Hicks all of Greenwood and Alichia (Matt) Bray and Clayton Ham both of Franklin, three sisters, Norma (Harold) Bailey of Fairland, Linda (Jim) Bailey of Ohio and Wanda (Harry) Gentry of Franklin, brother, Jerry (Mitzi) Hicks of Shelbyville and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Charlie Hicks.
