Billie Sue (Moss) Saba, 88, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday Nov. 11, 2014 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Whiteland. Billie was born August 13,1926 in Castalian Springs, Tennessee to James and Lucille (Robertson) Moss. She married Joseph Saba on March 8, 1952 in Indianapolis; they were married for 50 years.
Billie was employed as a cafeteria cook for the Clark-Pleasant Schools at Break O Day Elementary School for many years and later worked at the Canteen Commissary in Indianapolis, retiring after 4 years of service.
She was a 50 plus year member of the Whiteland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed reading, watching NASCAR and the Indianapolis Colts football on television and going out to eat. Billie loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four children, Judith A. (Dale) Thomas of Indianapolis, Denise L.(Dennis) Higgins of Whiteland, Carol Y. (James) White of Martinsville and Joseph W. (Joannie) Saba of Greenwood, eight grandchildren, Kim Wilkey, Kelly Osborne, Alisha Raider, Sarah Yeoman, Joseph White, Jason White, Alexis Saba and Matthew Saba and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Joseph Saba in 2002.
