Billie John Bill Pennington, 90, formerly of Farwell, Texas, died on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 in Houston, Texas. He was born at home in Wood County, Winnsboro, Texas on May 19, 1924, to William Allen Pennington and Nancy Clifford Shearer Pennington.
Mr. Pennington was married to Bernice McIntire Pennington on July 25, 1946. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a former POW of WWII. He loved his country, his family and his church. He served as an usher and greeter at First Baptist Church of Farwell for many years.
