Passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on September 2, 2010, at the age of 79. Bill was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather whom we were so blessed to have in our lives. Bill was born in Emitt, Idaho on December 17, 1930. He grew up in Mankato, Kansas, married Florence Kratzowa in 1952. They moved to South Dakota and raised a family. Bill was a plumber by trade, a very talented woodworker and was also in the National Guards. In 1986 they moved to Arizona to be near their children and grandchildren. He loved camping, hunting, fishing and was always the life of the party. He is survived by his wife Florence, daughter Gloria (Max) Cavalera, sons Robert (Debbie) Guffin and Tom (Cindy) Guffin, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, sisters Virginia, Nellie, Sandra and Charisse, brothers Walter and David. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Besse, brother Robert, sister Bonnie, son Paul, grandson Dana and great grandsons Adam and Moses. Rest in peace now, there’s no more pain. You were loved well. Heaven just got a little more fun.
