Bill Cooley, 93, of Centralia, passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.

He was born in Advance, Missouri on November 7, 1927 to Forrest Cooley and Dollie (Blacklidge) Cooley.

On July 3, 1949, he married Eulala Owen in Centralia and she preceded him in death on September 23, 2020. He survived by his daughter, Sandy Gadel and husband Steve of Walnut Hill; two grandchildren, Jami Stone (Kelly) of Charlotte, North Carolina and Cory Gadel (Fawn) of Westerville, Ohio; two great-grandchildren: Grand Gadel and Claire Gadel both of Westerville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife of 71 years, he was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Lee Holder and Genevieve Kraus.

Bill was an owner of the Palace Meat Market in Centralia and worked many years at Johnson’s Liquor Store in Centralia. Bill served in the United States Air Force.
