Bill Borgesen passed away on August 4, 2016. He was born on April 5, 1926 to Verga Elizabeth Walker and Emil Slot Borgesen in Shelley, Idaho. He served during World War II in the Army Air Corps. In 1946 he married Dolores May Mitchell in Philipsburg, Montana. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was five years old and visiting his grandmother when his future wife was born.

He was a truck driver with Toponce-Fuller Truck Company and Consolidated Freight Ways for over 30 years. His hobbies were wood working, fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles, rodeos, western swing dance and music. He taught himself how to play the accordion, banjo, harmonica, guitar, organ, and vocals.

Bill is survived by his children, William (Angie) Borgesen, Sharon (Don) Hill, Jeff Borgesen, Marie Chairez, Karen (Major) King, Mary (Kenneth) Eddards, Cheryl (Bobby) Myers; 27 grandchildren, 59 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Siblings, Alice (Warren) Beaty, Virgil “Pug” (Vicky) Bradshaw. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dolores; daughter, Donna Mae Moore; sister, Dora “Elaine” Bradshaw; grandson, Larry Coles, three great grandchildren, Kameron Jake Younger, Neaveh Carlson, Kannon Harris.
