Those left to honor Bevyrlee’s memory are her husband, Glen Dickerson of Newton; 3 sons, Marvin (Doug) Dickerson of Newton, Danny (Kay) Dickerson of Newton, Randy (Julie) Dickerson of Newton; 3 daughters, Glenda (Ted) Wing of Monroe, Debi (Garry) Selby of Newton, and Tammy Dickerson of Newton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her son-in-law, Don Vander Putte of Newton; sister-in-law, Cecile Tool of Ankeny, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Dennis Carmen and Sarah Margaret (Herwehe) Tool; daughter, Marcia Denise Vander Putte; 3 brothers, Harold Tool, Clifford Tool, and Charles Tool; and a brother, Jackie Tool, in infancy.
Bevyrlee grew up and graduated from Monroe High School. She was a waitress for 17 years at the Newton Motor Inn, retiring in 2002.
