Beverly Joan Jakan, 66, 1953-2020 passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 16, 2020 at William W Backus Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Beverly predeceased by her parents Ann (Johnson) Anderson and Alfred (Axel) Anderson.  As a teenager she grew up on a farm in North Windham, CT with her loving Aunt Alice and Uncle Ed Anderson and loved animals especially horses.  She was a homemaker and salesperson of the Wigwam Tack Shop until it closed.  Beverly was an amazing artist she loved to paint and make things with her hands.

Beverly is survived by her husband of 44 years John Jakan, they made their home and raised their family on their farm in Canterbury, CT.  Beverly is survived by her Daughter Andrea Tate and grandchildren Jessica Semmelrock and her fiancé Colin McBrearty, Daniel Semmelrock, and Devin Tate; Son Travis Jakan and his wife Heather Jakan and grandchildren Colby Jakan, and Kennedy Jakan; Daughter Corrie Faille and her husband Timothy Faille and grandchildren Nathan Faille, Cassidy Faille, and Mitchell Faille; Son Matthew Jakan and his wife Kaye Jakan and grandchildren Kasey Jakan, and Mia Jakan.  Beverly is survived by her sister Deborah Morin; and brother Gary Anderson and his significant other Barbara McKinney along with several nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Beverly was a member of Kingdom Hall in Plainfield.
