Beverly J. Eastman, passed away Monday December 9, 2013. Beverly was born April 14, 1937 in Mattawan the daughter of the late Ralph and Lucy Horton Crawford. She was employed with the Sprinkle Rd Laundry and also worked for several years with Portage Public Schools. Beverly was given the nickname “Gert” and enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren. On November 13, 1964 she was united in marriage to her loving husband Carl, who preceded her in death on March 8, 2005. She was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, Paige and Jimmy.
Beverly is survived by her children, Bruce Locker, Christine Regner, Robert Eastman, Rayne Shafer, Carla Steve McNeil; 10 grandchildren, Levi, Danielle, Leigh, Chad, Dustin, Mitch, Tyler, Kimmy, Taylor, and Trent; a brother and sister, Daniel Dorothy Crawford, Dorothy Jack LaCoss; and several nieces and nephews.
