Beverly Farnita Sellers was born July 18, 1962, the eldest and only daughter of Mr. Jesse J. Sellers, Sr., and the late Mrs. Isbella Clark Sellers in White Plains, New York. She peacefully departed this earthly life on Thursday morning, July 20, 2023, at Trident Medical Center, following an extended illness, two days after her 61st birthday.
Beverly accepted Christ at an early age at the First Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. James E. Taylor of Mamaroneck, NY. She was a member of the Youth Choir and the Usher Board. Upon relocating to SC, she joined her mother at the Greater Target A.M.E. Church. She was an active member of the Women’s Missionary Society and served as a Stewardess.
Beverly was educated in the public school system, in Mamaroneck Child Development Center and graduated from Mamaroneck High School. She attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, GA. Beverly worked for Aetna Insurance Agency for 15 years as an underwriter. She was a member of the Army National Guard.
Those left to cherish fond and loving memories are her father, Jesse Sellers, Sr., of the home; her brother Jesse Sellers, Jr., of New York; uncles; Deacon Herbert A. Sellers of Eutawville, SC, Rev Esau (Rev Betty) Clark, Rev. Robert (Dorothy) Clark, and Mr. William Leary, all of Holly Hill, SC; aunts; Mrs. Janie Sellers of Eutawville, SC, Mrs. Helen Clark of White Plains, NY, Mrs. Gracie Clark of Washington, NC and Mrs. Theresa Ann (Ervin) Asbury of Eutawville, SC; numerous relatives and friends
