Beverly Ann VanStone Gaskill, 89, of Fairfield, died 29 July 2020 at Bennett Hills Rehab and Care Center in Gooding.
She was born in Shongo, New York on 6 December 1930, the only child of Herbert and Marjorie Johnston VanStone.
She graduated from Wellsville High School in 1947 and was immediately employed by The First National Trust Company where she worked for more than 7 years. In 1955 she met and married John L. Gaskill in Shongo and the honeymoon was spent traveling to Fairfield, Idaho where they made their home. Their only child, Roxane, was born later that year.
Beverly loved beer, reading, pizza, wrestling, baseball and cats, not necessarily in that order.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and son in law, Mel Olson.
She is survived by her daughter, her three house cats (Mr. Favor, Sammy and Smudge), numerous semi feral cats who she has fed forever, and her current grand dogs (Rowan and Franny)
Thanks to her caregivers…those who helped her at home for several years and those who have cared for her during the last year.
