Beverly Ann ‘Harper’ Moazami was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on January 6, 1947, she was the first born to mother Bertha O. Harper and father Hansen H. Arnold. Beverly gave her life to Christ at a young age.  She received her formative education in Indianapolis Public Schools. Beverly was well known and affectionately nicknamed, “Gypsy” because of  her charisma and outgoing personality during her early years.

Beverly developed an interest in the medical field at a young age and worked as a Health Aide at General Hospital (Wishard) in Indianapolis. Beverly  married young and to the union came first born Drena. Despite the union dissolving Beverly continued to work toward her goals. She completed a program sponsored by Indiana University Medical Center at Morgan Health Center to become a Medical Technician. Soon after completing her program of study she gave birth to her second born, Shaune. Although there were challenges, she never gave up.

Beverly made a big move to New York and quickly secured employment at Ramapo Manor Nursing Center as a Phlebotomist. Beverly established herself and gave birth to her last born Maida in Nyack, New York. Beverly was no stranger to moving, she returned to Indianapolis and back to New York a time or two. She attended Rockland Community College, earning an Associate Degree. Beverly continued to work as a Phlebotomist and Lab Technician at various hospitals for twenty years.

Beverly made another big move to Northern Virginia and attended Ultra Sound Diagnostic School and became a Registered Medical Sonographer. She worked as a     Sonographer for twenty-two years.

God called Beverly home on November 27, 2020. She was preceded in death by both parents, three brothers: Robert, Kenny, Lloyd and sister Phyllis.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory daughters; Drena Harris, Shaune Anderson, and Maida Thompson (David); thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Humble and Rodney Walker; sister, Sharon Walker; nieces; Almitra Walker and Brittany Brookins, nephew; Maurice Brookins, and a host of cousins and friends.
