Beverly A. Swerline, age 88, of 1630 Township Highway 10, Sycamore, Ohio died at 9:45 A.M., Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at The Ohio State University James Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 17, 1932 in Marion County, Ohio to Roy & Zoe (Wingerd) Burdge. She married Dwight A. Swerline in Paris, Kentucky on August 17, 1949 and he survives.
Surviving are the following children, Ms. Judy Swerline, Napoleon, Ohio, and Robin (Terry) King, Sycamore, Ohio. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Kimberly Crayton, Holli Chaney, Adam Sniffen, Kayley Arthur, plus ten great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister-in-law, Janet Decker, Sycamore, Ohio and brother-in-law Gerald Swerline, Upper Sandusky. Beverly was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Miles, and three sisters, Cara Lee Montz, Isabella MacDonald, and Juanita Stroyd.
Beverly was a retired Mohawk High School cafeteria manager where she worked for 28 years. She was a 1950 graduate of Sycamore High School, was a member of the Mohawk Historical Society, and also at one time helped the religious education program at Mohawk. She was a member of Sycamore United Methodist Church where she was an active church member.
