Beverly A. Falkenberg, 94, of Fortville, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021 at Traditions at Brookside. She was born April 4, 1926 in Redfield, SD to the late Dwight L. & Anne (Sandelin) Young. Beverly graduated from Clark High School in South Dakota in 1944.
She worked for Abrasive Products in Fortville followed by working in the Food Services Department of Mt Vernon High School until her retirement in 1986 and later as a clerk for Personal Impressions until 1989. She was a member of Fortville United Methodist Church (now Gateway Community Church) and formerly active in the United Methodist Women’s group. Beverly married the love of her life Jack on September 10, 1947 and enjoyed 70 years of marriage until he passed in 2017.
Beverly is survived by her children: Scott C. (Janet) Falkenberg of Indianapolis; Terry F. (Robert) White of Indianapolis; Randall J. (Beci) Falkenberg of Atlanta, GA and Dean J. (Sara) Falkenberg of Fortville; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter Beverly; sister Mitzi Nelson; 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great grandchildren.
Beverly is proceeded in death by her husband Jack, her parents listed above and siblings Del Rita Dussell, Maxine Pushor and Janice Nelson.
