Mrs. Betty Ruth Mitchell, 83 of La Grange, Kentucky formerly of Bourbon County, Kentucky passed away Friday evening in the Richwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in La Grange.
She was born September 30, 1938 in Nicholas County, Kentucky to the late William S. and Lettie Lee Jolly Mitchell.
Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker and had worked at Jockey International in Carlisle for many years.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Runyon Mitchell, one daughter, Janet Lee Breunig. Sisters, Catherine Denton, Frances Purcell, and Virginia Cartmill. Brothers, Elgin Mitchell, Arlie Mitchell, Edward Mitchell, Richard Mitchell and Ray Mitchell.
Survivors include her daughter, Tammy Ewing and her husband Todd of Lexington, Kentucky. Three grandchildren, Catherine, Jordan and Matthew. Great-Grandchildren, Liam, Lillian and Atlas.
