Betty P. Sharpe, 87, of Burlington died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Sunday, November 27, 2016.
A native of Alamance County she was the wife of the late John Albert Sharpe and the daughter of Walter Dewitt Pack and Nannie Mae Stadler Pack, both deceased. Betty worked as an office manager for an insurance and real estate firm, was a classroom volunteer at AO Elementary School and later in life worked for the family business at Biller’s Jewelers in Burlington. She was a member of Low’s Lutheran Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Karen Sharpe Knighten and husband Stephen of Burlington, Rhonda Sharpe Allen and husband Thomas of Snow Camp, and Cheryl Sharpe Dillow and husband Kevin of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a brother, Grady Pack.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Verona P. Evans, Ruth P. Cox, and Peggy P. Brooks; and two brothers, Walter Dewitt Pack, Jr. and Raymond Pack.
