Betty Mathis Ostwalt, 84, of Troutman, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Hospice of Iredell.
She was born July 13, 1932 in Spartanburg, S.C. to the late Eddean Mathis and Vernie Trent Mathis.
Mrs. Ostwalt is survived by her loving husband, Frank Ostwalt; son, Jerry Brown (Karen) of Oxford, NC; three sisters, Martha Harding, Anna Parris, and Linda (Earl) Wells; four grandchildren, Kimberly Bell, Trent Brown, Elizabeth Brown, and Olivia Brown; and five great-grandchildren, Allison Smith, Taylor Smith, Travis Bell, Kayleigh Bell, and Jack Dean Brown. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
