Betty M. Kammetler, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday November 22, 2014. She was the wife of the late Willam J. Kammetler, who died in 2013. They shared over 63 years of loving marriage. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Gross) Shearer. Her life was devoted to raising her family, and she enjoyed cooking wonderful dinners for them. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, and taking trips to various casinos. Betty was a longtime member of Salem Lutheran Church of Bethlehem. Survivors: son Robert Kammetler and his wife Debbie of Bethlehem; daughters Debbie Achenzie and her husband Charles of Bethlehem, Sandra Edelman and Kenny Higgins of Bethlehem; sister Shirley Young-Keuker and her husband Oscar of Englewood, FL; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. Betty was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
