Betty Lillian Cobbs Guy, age 84, passed away Sunday morning. Born in Mt. Olive, NC, she was the daughter of the late Harry Lee and Elizabeth Martin Cobbs and the wife of the late Charles Thomas Guy. She was a graduate of Rex Hospital School of Nursing and was a retired registered nurse with Womack Army Medical Center in Fayetteville, N.C. Betty was a member of Northwood Temple Church in Fayetteville.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Guy & wife, Elena, David Guy & wife, Melissa, Matthew Guy & wife, Virginia, Daniel Guy & fiancée, Barbara Moore, Phillip Guy & wife, Miranda; her brother, Johnny Cobbs; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Julian Guy.
