Elizabeth L. “Betty” Zonker, 85, of Elkhart, passed away at 7:11 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Elkhart General Hospital of natural causes.
She was born in Elkhart on September 17, 1925, to Raymond and Bessie (Fetters) Fawley, who preceded her in death, along with her husband of 62 years, Ralph E. Zonker, who died in Elkhart in 2002, as well as two sons, David and Ralph Zonker Jr.
Surviving is a son, Randy (Tami) Zonker; two daughters, Margaret (Gordon) Daugherty and Doreen (Frank) Miller; and a sister, Helen (Lloyd) Fillio, all of Elkhart. Eleven grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild survive, as well.
