Betty L. Ward, 80, of Centralia, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at Centralia Manor surrounded by her family. Betty was born October 20, 1937 in Parma, AR, the daughter of Roy Bell and Clarice (Ingram) Bell.
She married Clyde E. Ward in July of 1956 in Gideon, MO. He preceded her in death on October 4, 2008. Betty is survived by two sons: Roy Ward and wife Dana of Centralia, and Ron Ward and wife Tina of Centralia; three grandchildren: Andrea Sigler and husband Tom of Centralia, Sara Simpson and husband Travis of Centralia, and Ryan Ward of Centralia; four great grandchildren: Julie and Allison Sigler of Centralia, and Lucas and Kaleb Simpson of Centralia; one sister: Joyce Burchell of Piggit, AR; many nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents: Roy and Clarice Bell; husband: Clyde Ward; three brothers: Harold Bell, Vernon Bell, and Ingram Bell; three sisters: Bonnie Scroggins, Caramel Hoggard, and Reba Lott. Betty was a member of the Central City Baptist Church. Most of all she enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
