Betty passed away on April 21, 2013 in Seward, Nebraska at the age of 93 years. She was born on April 21, 1920, to Miles L. and Arnetta (Coursey) Lawrence in Valliant, Oklahoma. On March 11, 1961, Betty married William Cousins in Ottawa, Oklahoma. She attended Southeastern State University in Durant, Oklahoma and received an Associates Degree in Business. Betty worked at the Broken Arrow Hospital in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma as a clerk and secretary. Betty is survived by her daughter Patricia (Dennis) Plautz, Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Michael Allen, Robert Moore, Darin (Geri) Plautz, Chantel Plautz, Cassandra Cochran; and four great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; daughter, Jeanne Anderson, son, Thomas R. Moore; sister, Jean Threadgill; brothers, Edward Lawrence, William Lawrence, Leonard Lawrence.
