Betty Jean May Fizer
Betty Jean May Fizer, 69, of Fairmont, formerly of Kingwood died Saturday May 6, 2017 at WVU Hospital, West Virginia Caring Hospice Unit, Morgantown with family by her side.
She was born January 14, 1948, in Kingwood, the daughter of the late William and Pauline Shrout May.
Betty was employed with Kinney Shoe Factory, Mamie Restaurant and later retired from Preston Memorial Hospital in the housekeeping department.
She is survived by her daughter, Imogene Gibson and husband Carl; two brothers, Gary May and Charles May; two sisters, Martha Sypolt all of Kingwood and Nancy May of Austintown, Ohio; two grandchildren, Carl Gibson, Jr. and Jennifer Gibson, as well as her first husband Willie Fizer and several nieces and nephews that loved her like a mom.
She was also preceded in death by her second husband Melvin R. Fizer and six brothers, Earl, Harold, Gerald, Donald, Jim and Ronald May.
