Betty J. Hubbard, nee Whitehead, 90, of O’Fallon, IL, born Friday, November 25, 1927 in Belleville, IL, passed away at her home on Friday, May 11, 2018. A devout Christian, Betty attended The First United Methodist Church of O’Fallon. She was also former member of the Eastern Star of OES 504 in O’Fallon. Betty had a huge heart and enjoyed volunteering for the O’Fallon Food Pantry.
Throughout her life she was very devoted to her family and loved to entertain. Everyone was welcome to her home during the holidays and everyone who met her loved her. Betty was always fun to be around and loved life to its fullest. She had a fond love for her grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She passed away surrounded by her loving family.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Jessie Whitehead, nee Titter; husband, Joseph Hubbard; son, Eric Hubbard; and sister, Merideth Brown. Surviving are her son, Craig (Claudia) Hubbard of O’Fallon, IL; daughter-in-law, Deborah Hubbard, nee Scharringhausen of O’Fallon, IL; four grandchildren, Joele (Kenneth) Pinkerton of Dublin, OH, Lauren (Gerald) McManama of O’Fallon, IL, Nathan (Autym) Hubbard of O’Fallon, IL, Emilee Hubbard of O’Fallon, IL; five great-grandchildren, Kailee Hubbard, Wyatt Hubbard, Henry Pinkerton, Joseph Pinkerton, Penelope McManama; many nieces and nephews.
