Betty J. Zsilavecz, 88, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at the VNA of St. Luke’s Hospice House in Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of the late William S. Zsilavecz who passed away in 2000. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Bast) Newhard. Betty was a homemaker. Her greatest love in life was taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Deborah A. Geist and her husband Bob; sons Michael S. and his wife Joanne, Barry L. and Stephen W. and his wife Lisa all of Bethlehem; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
