Betty Frances Berger, age 85, of Tempe, AZ but formerly of the Arcadia area died June 3, 2010 at Plaza Healthcare at Tempe. She was born August 4, 1924 at Arcadia, IN to Glenn and Ethel Lucille (Whisman) Gunning.
She was a graduate of Arcadia High School. Following graduation she enrolled in Indianapolis City Hospital Nursing School and became a Registered Nurse. She then furthered her education by enrolling at Lincoln Christian College at Lincoln, IL where she graduated with honors. She moved to Phoenix, AZ where she married Edward F. Berger who later became a pastor.
